In 1996, Marco graduated from Fairfield University and turned down a job with GE Capital to go into the restaurant business with his brother Gino.
At the age of 23, he bought his first multifamily property, a 4-family, in New York.
In 2013, he began investing with his brother & Jake in Knoxville Tennessee, where they purchased their first twenty-five unit deal. Since then, he has partnered with Jake & Gino on over 1300 units, and has witnessed and participated in the growth of the company.
Marco exited the rat race on August 1st 2019, and joined the Jake & Gino team full time to help coach students and raise capital for Rand Partners.
Marco excels in networking, building teams and putting people in place to succeed. He is a husband and the father of 3 beautiful girls. His family and multifamily are his two main focuses in life.

Toby Imah / Chief Marketing & Investment Officer
Toby is a Dallas, Texas native that began his real estate journey in 2016.
He started as a fix-and-flipper but quickly learned that holding properties long-term was the best avenue for his family's legacy. Toby transacted in over 120 real estate deals before pivoting to a “buy and hold” model.
As a seasoned single-family investor, his unique ability to source opportunities and raise capital paired swimmingly in the multifamily real estate arena. He transitioned into multi-family real estate because of the economies of scale, tax advantages, and overall simplicity.
He is the Chief Marketing and Investment Officer for Meliorem Capital and is typically one of the first hands you will shake. He specializes in acquisitions, broker relations, and capital raising strategies. The desire to enrich communities, cultivate lasting relationships, and increase profitability is what fuels Toby and the Meliorem team.
When he isn’t talking real estate, he is spending time with his family, attending church, or helping out in his local community. He has partnered with several organizations like the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The Red Cross, and Habitat for Humanity.

Hadar Orkibi / Advisor
A US Citizen, a full-time real estate investor, and an asset manager of a passive income portfolio. Hadar has been Investing in Real Estate for over two decades, specializing in long-distance, out-of-state investing and asset management.
Started as a Licensed Real Estate agent in Israel before Immigrating to New Zealand in 2003.
Hadar’s portfolio includes Multi-Family apartments and Commercial Triple Net Leases Real Estate in NZ and the United States.
In the US with MFIHolding.com, Hadar is focused on Multi-Family Apartment Buildings that have value-add upside potential.
Over the years Hadar implemented different strategies which include wholesaling, house flipping, subdivision, new construction, commercial NNN real estate, joint ventures, and multifamily investing.

Vien Nguyen / Chief Operating Officer
Vien received a BS/MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2010. She has been working in the oil & gas industry for the past 11+ years as a facilities engineer/project manager, managing projects ranging from $200K - $15MM from conceptual to construction/operation.
Upon graduation, Vien began investing in SFH passively by using the buy/hold/sell model while working her day job. In late 2020, Vien began transitioning into a large multifamily investment due to the economy of scale and to build generational wealth for her family and her daughter. By leveraging her oil & gas experience over the past 11 years, she uses these skill sets and specializes in deal analysis/underwriting and asset management to ensure these multifamily investments are meeting the investment business plans. To date, Vien invests in 400+ units spanning multiple states: TX, NC, SD, OH, and OK.
Vien is the Chief Operating Officer at Meliorem Capital, specializing in assessment management, business execution, and ensuring the day-to-day operations are meeting the company objectives and goals to provide the most economical returns to the investors.
Outside of Meliorem Capital and her oil & gas day job, she enjoys spending quality time with her three years old daughter by taking her to many different places (swimming, museum, tennis, hiking, nature activities).

Aaron W. Clopton / Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Aaron Clopton began investing in multifamily properties in 2015 with the purchase of one townhome.
Since then, along with his wife Sarah, Aaron has purchased eighteen additional units in Kansas and Missouri as sole owners of local multifamily properties.
In 2021, 130 additional units were acquired in Oklahoma City by taking an LP position alongside Sharpline Equity. Later that year, Clopton founded Meliorem Capital with partners to provide investors with unparalleled opportunities in real estate. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Meliorem Capital

Aaron utilizes deal prospecting and investor relations to develop opportunities and maximizes efficiencies within asset management to capitalize and execute property business plans. Aaron’s past professional experience in commercial real estate includes leading investment sales in office and industrial properties for Marcus & Millichap in Kansas City, and as a multifamily real estate advisor for Keller Williams - Commercial.
Experiences outside of commercial real estate include 16 years in higher education in both faculty and coaching positions. As a veteran, Aaron has also served as a battalion logistics officer, a fire support officer, and a targeting specialist in the Army and Army National Guard. Aaron’s academic training includes a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from The University of Kansas.
